Trellidor's patented locking systems
Many break-ins occur through the lock area, which is attacked with a variety of tools. Trellidor has developed and patented two locking systems. Trellidor's dead-lock system
This is a unique patented locking system designed specifically for retractable Trellidor T700, T800, T900 & T1000 security barriers.

This patented draw-bolt lock has a single keyhole with three locking points in the lock-stile | •You only need one key to lock or unlock the security gate, saving time when under stress in an emergency
•The three locking points provide maximum protection against attempted break-ins
•Multiple locking points make it difficult for criminals to know where to attack | The draw-bolt locks into place over specially designed lock pin bolts | Results in increased pull-out strength | Choose one of two lock positions (upper and lower on certain ranges) | You choose to position the lock at a height to suit your unique needs | The lock has a five pin cylinder with customised cams | •You choose whether to have matching keys on different security gates or any of the other options
•Provides maximum strength & security | All locks are supplied with three keys | Convenience |

These locks have three modes of operation (unique to Trellidor): | You choose which mode of operation to use when it suits you | Open mode operation: the security gate can open or close freely | No locking takes place, which prevents accidental lock-outs | Slam-lock operation: a single turn of the key puts the lock into slam-lock mode and the security door is armed, ready to be slam-locked | The security door can be slammed shut & locked automatically in the event of an emergency | Dead-lock operation: after closing the security door in slam-lock mode, turn the key one more time & it's dead-locked | This fixes the latches in position and prevents them from being lifted, adding to your security |
