Trellidor Retractable Security

Trellidor Retractable is a range of galvanised steel security gates in Trellidor’s familiar double trellis design. They’re custom made for the full spectrum of security risk profile, from low to extremely high. Product options include Trellidor T500, T700, T800 and T900. These security doors help protect doorways, verandas, passages and stairways in all types of home and also commercial buildings such as banks, prisons, retail outlets, airports, schools and stadiums.

Trellidor Fixed Security

Trellidor Fixed is a range of non-retractable galvanised steel security barriers. We custom manufacture these grilles and burglar guards for all levels of security risk and almost any window style. They’re ideal to help protect windows, open balconies, glassed walls and glassed-in stairways from break-ins by unwanted intruders. We offer a choice of designs, some of which match Trellidor Retractable Security gates, so there is no mismatching of barrier styles.

Trellidor Cottage Guard

Trellidor Cottage Guard is our premium quality, fully framed burglar proofing that is suitable for any window style. They are custom measured and made to either match existing cottage pane windows or create a cottage pane effect in both residences and commercial premises. They are manufactured from a combination of steel and aluminium components.

Trellidor Clear Guard

Trellidor Clear Guard is a beautifully designed security solution for doors and windows that appears to be invisible while helping to protect against unwanted intruders. They are engineered using an aluminium frame and a high tensile stainless steel mesh insert. They’re custom made in a variety of formats to fit just about any door and window style.

Trellidor Rollerstyle

Trellidor Rollerstyle aluminium shutters are an attractive way to help secure homes, commercial premises and corporate office buildings. They’re custom made for doorways, windows, verandas, counter closure and other applications. We offer a variety of curtain designs, tailored to suit the requirements, from complete privacy to security with a view. These shutters can be manually operated or completely automated for ultimate convenience.

Many break-ins occur through the lock area, which is attacked with a variety of tools by criminals. Trellidor has developed and patented two security gate lock systems. Each has unique features and the choice of lock will depend on individual needs.

Special Options

Trellidor is one of the few manufacturers that offer special options such as cut-in tracks, hinge-away and hinge-up units, and barriers that can help secure curved or angled windows. And if our Trellidor Sales Consultants are called in at the design stage of a building, we can work with architects on solutions to hide the security barriers to the point where they aren't visible when open. For example, false panels which Trellidor Retractable units can slide into and out of sight when opened.

Warranty

We offer a warranty on all our security solutions, testimony to the confidence we have in the manufacturing and workmanship of our products. Our state-of-the-art powder coating method includes a pre-treatment process that significantly enhances our products’ corrosion resistant properties, and many of our moving components are glass-filled nylon rather than steel, so there is little danger of rust.

Certifications

Trellidor products have been certified by a number of external bodies, giving customers confidence in our ability to live up to expectations. The SABS (South African Bureau of Standards) has certified our high levels of quality manufacturing excellence and workmanship. The UK-based LPCB (Loss Prevention Certification Board) has certified both the Trellidor T900 and Trellidor T1000 for performance under attack.
