Trellidor secures CHOC House06 December 2010
Security barrier manufacturers Trellidor have continued their association with Childhood Cancer Foundation of South Africa by donating and installing more security at the CHOC House at Inkosi Albert Luthuli Central Hospital in Durban. "We previously installed our security barriers in the play room and have now secured the bedroom area," said Trellidor assistant brand manager Bianca Diana. Trellidor Burglar Guards were donated by Trellidor's head office and installed free of charge by Trellidor Durban South franchise, under the supervision of franchise owner Mat Goetsch. Parents staying at the house while their children receive cancer treatment are now safe and secure within the home. Choc House provides a warm and friendly home for the family member caring for a child with cancer. The family member is often traumatised by their child's illness, and sharing the experience with others in the same position really helps them come to terms with it. The Choc Childhood Cancer Foundation has homes like these all over South Africa. "We were so glad to be able to help make a small difference to the people staying at this lovely home," said Mat, "and were happy to be able to make a contribution of this nature to such a deserving organisation."
