New Portable Barrier from Trellidor16 July 2009 Trellidor has recently launched Access Guard, a new portable trellis-style barrier on wheels designed to control the movement of people or prevent access to designated areas. "This is a multi-use product because it requires no fixed installation, can quickly be wheeled from one location to another and can be expanded or contracted to fit the space," said Trellicor Group Brand Manager Charlene Botha. Access Guard is ideal for limiting access to the public when doors have to be kept open, for example in warehouses where the roller shutters are kept open for the day's deliveries of stock. They can also be used to block off aisles not open to the public, such as liquor departments on Sundays. The barriers are highly suitable for any situation where people need to be guided into the correct queues and can be viewed on Trellidor's website. "We also see Access Guards being used in the stores areas of supermarkets or any materials handling. They can be erected to guard against supplies being mistakenly packed or shipped or to mark out an area that has to be worked on," said Charlene. Access Guards are made by security barrier manufacturers, Trellidor, at their ISO audited factory and may be purchased through any Trellidor franchise. Stock is readily available in the standard size of 3500mm wide by 2000mm high. Each unit has six wheels, three with brakes so that the Access Guard can be safely ‘locked' into position, as well as drop bolts that provide stability when dropped into floor recesses. Two handles ensure ease of movement and a stack latch holds the unit in the closed position when moving it around. Press Releases |
